SMS Innterconecta, Sea Mining Skid.

SEA MINING SKID involves the development and manufacture of an ionic mineral detection system for ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle). This project is a Pluriregional 2016 INNTERCONECTA. The objective of the Sea Mining Skid research project is the design and manufacture of a skid to be operated by a ROV inspection submarine vehicle equipped with tools for the detection of mineral deposits in deep sea beds. The system will have an innovative ionic mineral detection equipment, as well as specific software for the control and acquisition of data supplied by the skid. The consortium is formed by the companies ACSM, Quantum and Subsea Mechatronics.
